Not sure how I saw the first two of these, the third is off the Dublin sector of my friends-list.

Could a person not simply read all the Discworld novels in order of release?

Of course they could! But the order of release is not actually obvious on the spines of the books, and also some people like to stick to one or two of the sub-series.

But the order of release is not actually obvious on the spines of the books,

I wonder if it's possible to put the publication dates of the books on a web page, and call it something catchy like, I don't know, "A reading guide to Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels".

Sarcasm aside, that's a bit of information that should really be in this otherwise quite nice little graphic. For truly clever flowcharting, they could try to stagger them in publication order left to right, but that might be tough.

Also, seeing them all together like that brings across how very prolific Pratchett is. Nearly forty Discworld novels in less than thirty years, plus everything he's written that isn't Discworld.

The reading guide is very helpful! In fact, it has inspired me to seek out more Pratchett!

It leaves out "A Collegiate Casting-Out Of Devilish Devices" - and I'd argue about the positioning of Small Gods.
