Bike Ride

To Heverlee War Cemetery, which I referred to also here; I was originally hoping to spend this weekend exploring battlefields in Macedonia, but this will do for now.

I don't know if you are aware of these, but there are two interesting cemeteries in Ireland.
One is the German cemetery in Glencree which is a remarkably tranquil place, and one that I often go to when I need to rest my mind. It is the resting place of approx 120 Germans who either died in Ireland during the two world wars or whose bodies were washed ashore.
The other is also unusual. It is Arbour Hill in Dublin, and is the burial place of those executed after the Easter Rising. The unusual aspect is the memorial plot is in the middle of a British Military cemetery.
