Another interesting demonstration of the scale of the Solar System may be found in the Taunton area (details quoted from here, unfortunately I couldn't find any pictures):

Somerset Space Walk
A true scale model of the Solar System with the planets placed along the Taunton Bridgwater Canal. It is 13 miles long, centred on the Sun at Maunsel Lock, which is 6 1/2 miles in either direction from Taunton or Bridgwater. The route coincides, for some of its length with The West Country Way.
Details are available from Taunton and Bridgwater Tourist Information Centres.
