Thankyou so much for letting us play in your sandpit! Meanwhile we have been having a few technical problems with our LJ lately, let me elaborate ...

this is hilarious (although it makes me doubt the credibility of the journalist)

In fairness he is one of the best political journalists in Northern Ireland, just not really au fait with blogging!

hmm, could be but it still was a 2 minute fact-check he didn't do
IMO journalists have to have their facts straight (even the tiniest one) and especially if they belong to the "best" group

(granted, the ownership of Livejournal won't have any value in political journalism and thus is a really very minor flaw in his article, but still right is right and this wasn't) :-)

Cool. Can I have 512 userpics for free, please?

Only 512? In this day and age, I think that 216 (65,536) is a much more reasonable amount. Might actually be able to get all the photos I want in, then. ;)

Research seems to be a foreign idea to some journalists.

well I suppose it is better than the stupid numbers they came out with for irish bloggers in the Indo a year or so ago. On the way-too-low scale.

Who was it that said, "Everything you read in the news is entirely true - except for that one rare news story about which you have first-hand knowledge"?

Maybe you might want to add a few more clones? - after all, you now seem to hold down as many positions as a small diplomatic corps, and it *must* be wearing the first batch out...

No, favours of an obscurely personal nature are entirely sufficient!
