Not sure if I linked you to mine. So, here goes!

I must heartily recommend it. It's dense, for sure. It's also very erudite in its vocabulary. But in general, it's a wonderful atmospheric book. One must have a little patience and be able to wallow in evocatice descriptives, is all.

Also, being well travelled, I have a feeling that -- like me -- you'll enjoy the book for its locations, if nothing else.
