Normally, especially with airlines where your feelings are very experience-based, I'd plump for not astroturfing, but several of the comments know way too many technical details not to be astroturf of the lowest kind.

The Tsar's finger story reminds me of Spike Milligan's description of the creation of the border in Puckoon....

And I may have mentioned my campaign of friends don't let friends fly United. Looking at the experience of many going to and from the Worldcon, I'm sticking with it.

I liked the comment from the guy saying that the first 3 items on the list didn't happen. Interestingly I have met Dave Carroll, whose guitar was broken, and unless he was lying to my face, I'm prepared to say that it most certainly did.

Frankly, the problem wasn't that they broke the guitar. It was the way the airline handled the situation afterwards.

Yes, I thought the line that the first three things didn't happen because they were on the internet was particularly intriguing - a sort of inversion of the 9-11 conspiracy theories, in a way!

I flew United once and they seemed fine. I think. Certainly not so bad I am still grumbling about it, but then I am pretty easy-going.
