i decided perhaps the end of the mayan long calendar is in what's going on now. the meek shall inherit the earth, or something. politically the world may look very different at the end of 2012...

I was thinking that the UN action was too late to have any real effect. I am very, very happy that an instant ceasefire has been called.

I can only assume that Gadaffi's lot knew that their enormous military strength vs. the rebels could be degraded quite quickly by UN-authorised Air Forces. Could quickly turn into a rout. Assume the thinking is keep what they've got and bargain from a position of strength.

But has the Libyan government actually ceased fire? Reports say not yet.

So yet again the Pseudoliberals support bombing civilians in a criminal war. How long before you are involved in genocide, child rape and cannibalism again.

Or are you like the overwhelming majority of pseudoliberals - eager to bring in censorship to promote mass murder?
